Judging Commences: 7.40 a.m. Wednesday 29th June - Grand Ring

Conditions:
(i) The British Show Horse Association Rules and Jurisdiction for Affiliated Shows apply. Horses entered in these classes to be registered with, and owners and riders to be members of, the BSHA. (REGISTRATION NUMBERS MUST BE QUOTED ON ENTRY FORM). BSHA Tel No. 01462 437770.
(ii) Classes 54, 55 & 56 are qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward and so forth to fifth place. In accordance with BSHA rules the annual BSHA HOYS fee of £15 must have been paid to BSHA before the entry is made if the exhibitor wishes to qualify. The BSHA HOYS fee cannot be paid in retrospect. This fee is not the HOYS levy, which goes to Grandstand Media Ltd.
The three highest placed prize winners in all open affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show.
The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider & Amateur rosette in each open class & a championship rosette for each section.
(iii) Classes 54 & 55 are qualifiers for the Ponies (UK) Kempley Ridden Cob Championship. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the Show Secretary. Non members have 14 days to become members of Ponies (UK) after the Show.
(iv) Classes 54, 55 and 56 are qualifying classes for the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) £2,000 Challenge. The qualifier will be the highest placed horse (not already qualified) that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Register, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding. The horse need not be registered to qualify, but MUST be on the IDHS(GB) registers by the time of the Championship, which will be held at the IDHS(GB) Annual Breed Show at Weston Lawns Equitation Centre, Bulkington, Coventry, Warks. Each qualifier will be awarded a rosette and £10 voucher from Blue Chip.

Amateur Home Produced exhibit in the HOYS qualifying classes
In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 in prize money plus a Blue Chip rug. The reserve champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd - 7th inclusive will be awarded £100 each. In addition, £100 prize money plus Trophy will be awarded to the highest place Pure Bred and a trophy to the highest placed under 15.2hh.
(v) The judge will be asked to restrict his riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available.
