HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND BRINETON FIRST RIDDEN & COLNE LEADING REIN CHAMPIONSHIP 2011 QUALIFYING ROUND

FIRST RIDDEN & LEAD REIN
MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND PONIES

Judges: - Conformation - Mr David Puttock - Goudhurst - (Ballan Stud)
- Ride - Miss Kerry Wainwright - Adlington - (Skellorn Stud)

Judging Commences: 3.00 p.m. Wednesday 29th June - Wensum Ring.

Conditions:
(i) This class is open to Mountain and Moorland Mares and Geldings four years old and over registered in the main body of their respective Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible. REGISTRATION NUMBERS MUST BE QUOTED ON ENTRY FORM. Ponies not to exceed 122cm (12.0hh). Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday but must not have attained their 9th birthday before the 1st January in the current year.
(ii) Classes are held under N.P.S. Rules and marks to be awarded 50/50. The First Ridden and Lead Rein Classes are qualifying competitions for the Horse of the Year Show Mountain & Moorland Brineton First Ridden and Colne Leading Rein Championship 2011.
(iii) 1st, 2nd & 3rd places (not already qualified) from Classes 76 & 77 will qualify. Ponies that qualify to the Championship at HOYS 2011 must hold a valid JMB Full Height or Annual Certificate, a copy of which must be enclosed at the time of entry to HOYS, JMB certificates are not required to enter this qualifier.
(iv) This Show, Class 76, is a qualifier for the P (UK) Brineton Mountain and Moorland First Ridden Summer Championship. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Non Members have 14 days to register with Ponies (UK) following the Show.
(v) This Show, Class 77, is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) Lobster Pot Mountain and Moorland Lead Rein Summer Championship. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Non Members have 14 days to register with Ponies (UK) following the Show.
(vi) These classes qualifiers for the B.S.P.S. Summer Championship.
