Veteran Horses - Regional Qualifier
VETERAN HORSES - Regional Qualifier Veteran Horse Showing Home Produced Olympia Regional Qualifier 2011 sponsored by Dodson & Horrell. Judges: Mrs P Baker Beall - Polegate, East Sussex Mrs P Pattinson - Sutton in Ashfield, Notts Judging Commences: 11.30 a.m. Thursday 30th June - Waveney Ring. (i) This Show is a Veteran Horse Showing Ltd Home Produced Olympia Showing Series 2011 sponsored by Dodson & Horrell. (ii) All competitors should acquaint themselves with VHS Rules before entering. The Veteran Horse Showing Ltd Olympia Regional Qualifier are open to both Members and Non Members of the Veteran Horse Showing/Society. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of the VHS they can be found at www.veteran-horse-showing.co.uk. Competitors wishing to qualify for Olympia must have qualified at a VHS Area Qualifiing show and must hold a valid Regional Qualification/Acceptance Card, which must be shown on only with current membership/registration card. (iii) The Veteran Horse Showing Ltd will provide 3 qualifier rosettes for each class. These will be awarded to the 3 highest placed members only. The 1st to 3rd will receive Dodson & Horrell vouchers to the 3 highest placed members. Qualification cards 3 will be awarded to the highest placed members only in each class. Tel; 01782 503526 or e-mail [email protected] (v) No Foals, Spurs, Galloping or Wearing of Face/Body Jewellery permitted. Minimum age of handler for In Hand classes 9 years old. Minimum age of handlers for stallions in hand - ridden competitors must be over 16 years of age. (vi) Competitors must display the age of the horse/pony on the bridle in all classes. (vii) Please Note: You will not be allowed into the ring for any of the classes listed below without submission of your acceptance card. (viii) The same competitor cannot go forward to the championship as the winner of both in hand and ridden classes. If this situation occurs, a choice must be made by the competitor between which section, in hand or ridden, he/she will enter for the championship. The second placed competitor in either the in hand or ridden section not chosen by the winner will then qualify and go forward to the championship.
