Thursday 28th June - Light Horse Ring - to follow Hunter - Ridden, Small & Ladies classes Conditions: (i) Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain (H.I.S.) Rules and Regulations for Affiliated Shows apply. Classes 71 to 74 are qualifiers for 'The National Hunter Supreme Championship Show' and only horses registered on the current year Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. Registrations numbers must be quoted on entry forms and owners and riders must be members of the Society. The three highest placed horses in each class will qualify to enter at the NHSCS. No horse lower than third in its class will qualify. (ii) The SHB (GB) (HIS) requires all entries to be registered. SHB(GB) tel no 01732 866277. (iii) Classes 71, 72, 73, 75 & 76 are qualifying competitions for the Horse of the Year Show 2012. In the Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, Ladies and Workingl Hunter classes, the highest placed unqualified horse in the first four will qualify to enter at the Horse of the Year Show. No horse lower than fourth will qualify. In the Working Hunter Class, the highest placed unqualified horse in the first four will qualify to enter at the Horse of the Year Show. No horse lower than fourth will qualify. (iv) Classes 70 to 76 are qualifying classes for the Blue Chip & Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) £2,000 Challenge. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each of these classes that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse registers, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven I rish Draught breeding, will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) £2,000 Challenge. Horses need not be registered with the Society to qualify but must be on the IDHS (GB) registers by the time of the Championship which is held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on (date and venue to be announced annually). NB: A horse may only qualify for the final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each qualifier will receive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com www.idhsgb.com> to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the final. Following submission of the online form, a qualifier's pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred Irish Draught will be awarded a trophy and £100 and the highest placed 158 cm (15.2 hh) and under will receive a trophy and £50. (v) This Show, Class 74, is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) Brineton Small Hunter Championship. Riders to be any age. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placing will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Non Members have 14 days to register with Ponies (UK) following the Show. (vi) This Show classes 71, 72 & 73 are qualifiers for the Ponies (UK) Whittakers Lord Open Hunter Championship. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placing will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Non Members have 14 days to register with Ponies (UK) following the Show. (vii) If the judge considers that any exhibit in the Light Weight or Middle Weight classes is up to more than the specified weight, that exhibit will be transferred to a higher weight class. (viii) This show is a qualifier for the Equifest Supreme Ridden Hunter Championship taking place at the East of England Showground on 15-19 August 2012. The Champion Ridden hunter from class C27 will qualify. In the event that the Champion has already qualified, the qualification may pass no lower than the Reserve Champion. Full details on the Finals will be sent to all qualified exhibitors by the East of England Agricultural Society. (ix) Judges will be asked to restrict riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available. (x) A limit of 40 will be imposed on entries accepted in class 76 irrespective of the entry closing date. (xi) Classes 71, 72, 73 & 74 are qualifiers for the National Hunter Supreme Championship Show, to be held at Bury Farm Equestrian Village, Slapton, Bucks, LU7 9BT on 4th & 5th September 2012.
