RIDING PONIES - IN HAND

Judging Commences: 08:00 Wednesday 27th June - Wensum Ring B

Conditions:
i) These classes are held under N.P.S. Rules.
ii) Brood Mares to be 4 years old or over. Foals must be at least three weeks
old at date of Show.
iii) This show is a qualifier for the N.P.S./Area X1 Show Pony In hand Supreme National Championship. This Competition is for Riding Ponies not to exceed 148 cm, (14.2hh) at maturity which must be registered in the NPS Riding Pony Stud Book, Register or Appendix, International or Sports Pony Section of the BRPSB, the GSB, the AHSB, and the AASB or registered in the main body of their respective Mountain and Moorland Stud Books. Part-Breds are not eligible unless entered in the N.P.S. Stud Book, Register or Appendix, International or Sports Pony Section of the BRPSB. The owner does not have to be an NPS member for the pony to enter this competition but only ponies owned by NPS Full, Standard or Life Members can qualify for the final. The first and second prize winners from each class go forward to the championship. The Champion and Reserve Champion, if owned by NPS members, then go forward to the final at the NPS Summer Championship show. Where the Champion and/or Reserve Champion is not owned by the NPS member, or has already qualified, the pony standing next in line, which belongs to an NPS member and has not already qualified, receives the qualification. Qualification may go no lower than first reserve in the Championship. Foals are not eligible for this championship.
(iv) This Show, class C48 is a qualifier for Ponies (UK) "Peek-A-Boo" Riding Pony/Horse In Hand/Hunter Championship. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd will qualify for the 2012 P (UK) Summer National Championships. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placings will be confirmed by results sent in by show secretary. Non Members have 14 days to register with Ponies (UK) following the Show.
