All Showjumping competitors are required to declare prior to the start of each class. Once declarations are closed the jumping order will be drawn and published. Failure to declare will result in the entry being withdrawn. They may depart after completion of the competitions in which they are entered. Exit from the Showground will be granted on surrender of their waist cards to the exit gate-keeper. Classes 180 to 184 will be judged on Wednesday 26th June classes 185 to 187 will be judged on Thursday 27th June 2012. Stables: Stabling may be booked at the time of making entries, at a fee of £40.00 (inc. V.A.T.) each per stable per night. Please note NO bedding is provided. There will be no refund on cancellation. Bedding: LEAVE YOUR BEDDING AT HOME AND BUY IT AT THE SHOW New bedding supplying will be on site from Tuesday 25th June for competitors that have booked stables to purchase bedding. Entry Fee per Class: All prices are inclusive of VAT Classes 180 & 187 £46.00 Class 181 £85.00 Classes 182, 184, 185 £26.00 Class 183 £40.00 Class 186 £52.00 Late entries will NOT be accepted and entries in all sections will be subject to space and availability. Prizes: As stated for each competition. In the event of insufficient starters lower prizes may be witheld in accordance with British Showjumping Rule 76(6). Conditions: (i) See also General Conditions at front of Horse Section. (ii) Online and postal entries will be available. (iii) Entries in these classes are restricted to horses or ponies registered with the British Showjumping and must be ridden by members in accordance with British Showjumping Rule 79. (iv) No rider will be permitted to ride more than TWO horses in any one class, with the exception of class 181, 182 and 183. A limit will be imposed on the number of entries accepted in each class, irrespective of the entry closing date - Classes 180, 50 entries, class 187, 20 entries, all other classes 80 entries. The order of jumping will be determined by ballot. Where a standard has been reached in any competition, the judges may retire any competitor making more than a certain number of faults if they consider this absolutely necessary. If declarations exceed 25, entries may be restricted to one horse per rider. (v) Wearing of protective headgear - Skull Caps or Riding Hats, conforming to Standard PAS 015, ASTM F1163, EN1384 or higher MUST be worn at all times by anyone mounted on a horse or pony whilst on the Showground. Such headgear must be worn with the chinstrap correctly and securely fastened at all times. (vi) Should there be insufficient declarations in any class on the day, substitution horses already entered at the Show may be accepted for suitable classes. If declarations exceed 25, entries may be restricted to one horse per rider. Payment must be made for any additional classes entered. |
