57Hack or Riding Horse - Filly, Colt or Gelding, Yearling, to make between 148cms and 160cms at maturity. Not to exceed 154cms on the day
58Hack - Filly, Colt or Gelding, 2 or 3 years old.

New for 2013 Separte Hack and Riding Horse Championship

Judging Commences: 14:30 Wednesday 26th June - Glaven Ring

Conditions:
i) Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. Owners and Horses must be registered or have temporary membership with a Day Ticket. In-Hand Horses registered with the association must be owned by current BSHA Members. Handlers must be 15 years of age or older.
ii) Classes 55, 57, 58 and 59 are qualifiers for NPS/Ottergayle Hack & Riding Horse In Hand Supreme Championship Kindly sponsored by JULIA and DAVID TOPHAM BARNES
Youngstock, stallions, mares and geldings, no specific registration criteria. Qualifying rounds may be affiliated to the NPS or the BSHA. The owner does not need to be an NPS member to enter the competition, qualify or enter the final.
The first three ponies/horses from each class go forward to the final at the NPS Summer Championship show. Foals are excluded from qualifying. For the Hack and Riding Horse In Hand Supreme Championship the Judge must be on the British Show Horse Association Breeding Panel.
NPS/Rosettes Direct Home Produced Ridden Championship - Riders of Home Produced ponies (see definition in the NPS Rules Book) can wear a white arm band in classes where this is indicated. These ponies, if owned by NPS members, are then eligible to qualify for the final at the NPS Summer Championship Show.
iii) This show is a qualifier for the BSHA 'Martin Wood Supreme In Hand Breeding
Championship' the final to be held at the National Championships at BSHA National Championships at Addington. Champion and reserve from the Hack and Riding Horse In Hand Section to qualify. More information available from www.britishshowhorse.org. The BSHA offer a Martin Wood Qualified rosette to the Champion & Reserve. The BSHA also offer a Owner/Breeders rosette in each In-Hand Breeding class with exception of the Foal classes.
iv) Classes 57, 58 & 59 are qualifiers for Ponies (UK) "Peek-A-Boo" Riding Pony/Horse In Hand/Hunter Championship. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd will qualify from class 60. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placing will be confirmed by results sent in by show secretary. Non Members will have 14 days after the Show to register with Ponies (UK) following the show.
