Conditions:
(i) Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association (BSHA). Competitors and Horses must be registered or have temporary membership with a Day Ticket. Horses registered with the Association must be Owned, Exhibited and Ridden by current BSHA Members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. (Registration Numbers must be quoted on Entry Form.) (ii) Classes 61, 62 & 63 are qualifiers for Horse of the Year Show, 8th-12th October 2014. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward and so forth to fifth place. In accordance with BSHA rules the annual BSHA Horse of the Year Show fee of £15 must have been paid to BSHA before the entry is made if the exhibitor wishes to qualify. The BSHA Horse of the Year Show fee cannot be paid in retrospect. This fee is not the Horse of the Year Show contribution, which goes to Grandstand Media Ltd.
The three highest placed prize winners in all open affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show.
The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider & Amateur rosette in each open class & a champion rosette for each section.
Virbac Ltd / 3D Worming Virbac Ltd. manufacturers of leading wormers and committed to supporting horse owners through the innovative and educational 3D Worming concept, will issue the HOYS qualified Cob in each class with a qualification rosette and card. This will not be presented in the Ring but will be forwarded with confirmation of qualification for HOYS, from the BSHA. www.3dworming.co.uk.
(iii) Classes 61, 62 & 63 are qualifiers for the Ponies (UK) Kempley Ridden Cob Supreme Championship including Maxi Cob. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. No qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, placing will be confirmed by results sent in by the Show Secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions who are not current members of Ponies (UK) must become a member before the time of entry to the Ponies (UK) Supreme Championships in August 2014.
(iv) The judge will be asked to restrict his riding to those entries selected for final consideration, having due regard to the judging time available.
