Ponies must be registered in the main body of their respective Mountain & Moorland Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible. Qualifying rounds for most NPS competitions are open to ponies owned by NPS members and nonmembers but only ponies owned by adult NPS Qualifying or Life members are eligible to qualify for the final of the competition at the NPS Summer Championship Show at Malvern from 5th -7th August 2014. (ii) Ponies must be registered in the main body of their respective Mountain & Moorland Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible. REGISTRATION NUMBERS MUST BE QUOTED ON ENTRY FORM. (iii) All stallions and colts, TWO years old or over, must hold a current Stallion Licence, unless otherwise governed by their individual Breed Society. (iv) All Shetland Pony classes are restricted to Registered SPSBS Ponies only. SPSBS rosettes must only be given to ponies registered with the Society. Children under 14 years old may not show colts (excluding foals) or entire males in these classes. (v) The Association reserves the right to amalgamate classes if there are insufficient entries forward. (vi) This Show, Class C44, is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) Glyn Greenwood Mountain & Moorland In Hand Supreme Championship. Mountain & Moorland, Stallion, Colt, Filly, Mare or Gelding, any age, registered with their approved Pure Breed Society Stud Books of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh Section A, B, C and D. Competitors in qualifying positions who are not current members of Ponies (UK) must become a member before the time of entry to the Ponies (UK) Supreme Championships in August 2014. (vii) The British Connemara Pony Society In Hand Qualifier. Open to Connemara ponies in Class 101 and 102. Highest placed Broodmare, yearling, two year old and three year old will qualify. Broodmares of the Tam O'Shanter qualification do now, NOT need to have a foal at foot providing they have had a foal in the past. THIS will be checked on entry to the final. The finals will be held at the BCPS In-Hand Breed Show at Warwickshire Agricultural College, Moreton Morrell July 2014 and will be known as the Tam O'Shanter Championship. (viii) The Exmoor Pony of the Year In Hand Qualifier. The highest placed Exmoor Pony will qualify for 'The Exmoor Pony of the Year' and the Exmoor Pony Society will offer a special qualifying rosette and card. The final will take place on the 14th September at Canaan Farm, Costock, Loughborough as part of the Midlands Area Show. This final is only open to members of the Exmoor Pony Society and non-members may join the Society when they return their qualifying card. (ix) NOTE: This is a Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS) Performance Sire Ratings Show.
