(i) All competitors should acquaint themselves with the Veteran Horse Society (VHS) Rules before entering. These can be found at www.veteran-horse-society.co.uk . (ii) Competitions are open to BOTH non-members and members of the Veteran Horse Society.
(iii) This show, classes 158-167 are qualifiers for the Veteran Horse Society Championships to be held on 19th-21st September 2014 at Bury Farm Equestrian Village, Mill Road, Buckinghamshire, LU7 9BT. Competitors placed 1st to 6th in classes 158 - 167 may qualify whether they are members of the VHS or not. All competitors will be issued with yellow Championship Qualification Cards.
(iv) This show, classes 158-167 are qualifiers for the Veteran Horse Society Supreme Final to be held on 21st September 2014 at Bury Farm Equestrian Village, Mill Road, Buckinghamshire, LU7 9BT. Competitors, who are members of the Veteran Horse Society AND are placed 1st and 2nd in classes 158 - 167 will qualify for the Veteran Horse Society Championship of the Day and the Champion and Reserve Champion will qualify for the Veteran Horse Society Supreme Final.
(v) No Foals, Spurs, Galloping or Wearing of Face/Body Jewellery permitted.
(vi) Mares with foals at foot not accepted in any of the classes. Foals may not be left outside the ring, as this is not acceptable to mare or foal.
(vii) Minimum age of handler for In Hand classes 9 years old. Minimum age of handlers for stallions in hand - ridden competitors must be over 16 years of age.
(viii) Classes may be split due to size of class.
