41 Ridden Heavy Horse class - Any Heavy Horse Breed

RIDDEN HEAVY HORSE CLASS for ANY PURE BRED HEAVY HORSE ___________________________________________________________________________________ This Show is a Qualifier for the British Ridden Heavy Horse Society Kilmannan Championship at Equifest. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Judge: Mrs Nicola Pargeter - Yorkshire Judging: 13.00hrs Thursday 2nd July - Ivan Cooke Heavy Horse Ring after the Heavy Horse In Hand classes. Entry Fee: £17.00 (Inc. VAT) per entry. Prizes: 1st to 4th will each receive £10. Rosettes: !st to 4th rosettes and cards. Premium: No premiums will be awarded in this section. Conditions: i) Exhibitors must wear and have securely fastened Riding Hats conforming to current safety standards whilst on the Showground at all times. ii) All horses should be 4 years old or over and will be judged at walk, trot & canter. iii) Horses in the class are advised not to wear flights. iv) Suitable riding attire must be worn. v) Blinkers are optional. vi) Judge may not ride and entries will not be required to jump. vii) Although this class is open to ANY pure bred Heavy Horse, ONLY Shire, Suffolk, Percheron & Clydesdale horses will qualify for the Kilmannon Championship. viii) Qualification to be awarded no lower than 3rd place in the event of the winning horse having already qualified. ix) Qualifying horse entitled to compete in the final of the Kilmannan Ridden Heavy Horse Championship to be held at Equifest on Saturday 15th August, 2015.
