YOUNG HANDLERS GJL Animal Feeds have Kindly Sponsored this Section Qualifier for the RBST Young Shepherd of the Year Competition 2016 Judge: Mr R John Sylvester - Lincolnshire Judging: Thursday 30 June - Sheep Rings To follow Wool on the Hoof Classes Entry Fee: No Charge Prizes: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 Rosettes & cards will be awarded 1st - 4th Conditions: i) Only animals previously entered and shown in the breed classes are permitted to be entered in the following classes. ii) Classes will be judged on the Handlers' dress, showmanship and knowledge of their Sheep. iii) Please note that the animal should match the size of the handler. All exhibitors must be able to lead, handle and control all animals. Handlers may be asked to leave the ring at the discretion of the stewards if for any reason they are deemed unsuitable. iv) The winner/s of the Young Handler Classes will be eligible to take part in the RBST Young Shepherd Competition 2016.
