WOOL FLEECES This Show is a qualifier for The British Wool National Golden Fleece Competition Judge: John Gardiner - Lincolnshire - Central Wool Growers in Stamford Judging: Wednesday - 11 a.m. - British Wool Marquee Entry Fee: £3 per entry Prizes: 1st £12, 2nd £9, 3rd £6. Rosettes and cards will be awarded 1st - 4th Premiums: No Premium will be awarded in this section. Conditions: i) All fleeces must come from sheep that have been entered and will be shown in the breed classes here at the Show. ii) Each wool fleece exhibit shall consist of one fleece from the 2019 clip; entries must have been grown on the sheep that are the property of the exhibitor. iii) Fleeces may only be entered in one class. iv) Exhibitors may only make two entries per Class. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to enter the correct Class. v) All fleeces should be neatly rolled and secured from unrolling and not by twine or they will be eliminated and also if they are artificially stained. All fleeces should be labelled with the Class number entered, the Breed or Cross and the Name and Address of the Exhibitor. vi) It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to ensure delivery of their fleece/fleeces to the Fleece Competition Area by 8:00 a.m. on the Wednesday of the Show. Prior delivery by arrangement with the Organiser. They cannot be removed until after 4:30 p.m. on the Thursday. vii) The Organisers have the right to amalgamate Classes if there are not sufficient entries. viii) The Judge's decision is final. Class
