YOUNG HANDLERS GJL Animal Feeds have kindly sponsored this Section Qualifier for the RBST Young Shepherd of the Year Competition 2022 Judge: Mr Jeff Clarke - Warwickshire Judging: Thursday - Sheep Rings To follow Wool on the Hoof Classes Entry Fee: No Charge Prizes: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 Rosettes & cards will be awarded 1st - 4th Conditions: i) Only animals previously entered and shown in the breed classes are permitted to be entered in the following classes. ii) Classes will be judged on the Handlers' dress, showmanship and knowledge of their Sheep. iii) Please note that the animal should match the size of the handler. All exhibitors must be able to lead, handle and control all animals. Handlers may be asked to leave the ring at the discretion of the stewards if for any reason they are deemed unsuitable. iv) RBST YOUNG SHEPHERD OF THE YEAR. The winner/s of the Junior Handling Classes will be eligible to take part in the RBST Young Shepherd Competition 2022. If the class winner has already qualified, the next highest placed eligible competitor not previously qualified can go forward.
