Rosettes: 1st to 10th place, rosettes.
All competitors will receive a special Jumps2go rosette.

Conditions:
(i) This class is open to all horses and ponies 4 years old & over, ridden by riders of any age.
(ii) Format. Competitors will jump a course of show jumps immediately followed by rustic, cross country style fences, not exceeding 90cm. The final fence will be an optional joker fence, set 15cm higher than the rest of the course. The total number of jumping efforts will not exceed 20. The Cross-Country phase will be timed and the fastest combination with the least faults will win.
(iii) Scoring. In accordance with The Pony Club Arena Eventing rules.
SJ Phase:
Knocking down obstacle: 4 penalties
First disobedience of horse in SJ Phase: 4 penalties
Second disobedience of horse in SJ Phase: 8 penalties
Third disobedience of horse in SJ Phase: Elimination*
Fall of horse or rider: Elimination*
Error of course not rectified: Elimination*
Starting before the Bell: Elimination*
*Competitors eliminated in this phase may not proceed to the XC phase
XC Phase:
Knocking down an obstacle: 4 penalties
First refusal, run-out or circle of horse at obstacle: 20 penalties
Second refusal, run-out or circle at same obstacle: 40 penalties
Third refusal, run-out or circle at same obstacle: Elimination
Four refusals around the whole course: Elimination
Fall of horse or rider: Elimination
Failure to cross the finish line mounted: Elimination
Joker jumped clear: 10 seconds deducted from time
Joker knocked down: 10 seconds added to time
(iv) Entries in this class will be LIMITED and accepted on a first come, first served basis.
(vi) Times. Competitors will compete in a drawn order and times will be available on www.royalnorfolkshow.co.uk/equine two days before the competition.
(vii) Number Bibs. Competitors must provide their own number bib and print their own number, the template for which will be available prior to the event.
(viii) Saddlery & Dress. In accordance with The Pony Club & British Eventing rules for Cross-Country competitions. Back protectors and skull caps (no fixed peaks) conforming to current PC/BE rules MUST be worn by all competitors. Competitors are advised to wear XC colours and their shoulders must be covered. Horses/Ponies may be plaited at the competitor's discretion.
(vii) Course Walking. The course will be available to be walked 15mins prior to the start of the class.

Qualifiers:
(i) This class is a qualifier for the NPS/ANTHONY EVANS ARENA EVENTING CHALLENGE FINAL. The Final will be held on 17th September 2022 at Aston Le Walls. The final is open to mares, geldings and stallions four year old and over, in possession of an equine passport but no specific registration or breed society criteria. Ponies' manes may be plaited at competitor discretion. Qualification will be gained by achieving a top 10 placing or a double clear in a qualifying class. Qualification will be confirmed by the NPS Office. Riders may only ride one pony in each class at the final. Only ponies owned by NPS members (Life, Qualifying or Performance) can qualify for the final.
