HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW CUDDY SUPREME IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP 2012 QUALIFIER Judge: Mr Tom Barron - Darlington Judging: Thursday 28th June at 16.15 hrs in the Wensum Ring. Class C2. The object of the competition is to find the supreme light horse or pony in-hand champion of the year, irrespective of breed or type (excluding heavy horses). The champion from each of the qualifying shows will qualify for the Championship to be held at the N.E.C., Birmingham, 5th - 9th October 2011. The Champion horse or pony from the following sections are eligible to compete, provided it has not already won a qualifying round in 2011. Arab/Part Bred Arab, Skewbald & Piebald, In Hand Sports Horse, In Hand Riding Pony, In Hand Hunter, In Hand Mountain & Moorland Ponies - Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Connemara & New Forest, Highland, Dales & Fell, Welsh A, B, C & D sections, In Hand Hunter Pony, In Hand Hack & Riding Horse. If the champion has already qualified or is ineligible, then the reserve champion of that section may come forward, provided it has not already qualified and is eligible. If both champion and reserve have already qualified or are ineligible then this section will not be represented in this qualifying round. Foal champions are not eligible. Awards: Champion: HOYS Cuddy Champion rosette & sash. Reserve: HOYS Cuddy Reserve rosette & sash. Prize Money: Champion £125.00 Reserve Champion £75.00 (N.B.Prize money will be paid after HOYS 2011by Grandstand Media Ltd). Qualification will be verified by the HOYS Office.
