The winners of the Junior Handling Classes will be eligible to take part in the RBST Young Shepherd Competition 2016. If the Class winner has already qualified the next highest placed competitor not previously qualified can go forward. The Grand Final for the RBST Young Shepherd Competition will be held at Countryside Live which takes place on Sunday 23 October 2016 at the Great Yorkshire Showground. Classes for the following age groups will be judged: 8 - 12 years and 13 - 16 years. The winners of each section will receive a Trophy, Champion Rosette & £50 with the Reserve Champion receiving a Reserve Champion Rosette & £25. They will then go on to compete for the RBST Champion Young Shepherd Trophy. Sheep classes at Countryside Live are offered to Non-Maedi Visna Accredited sheep only. |
